About Me

Husband to an amazing woman, father to wonderful kids. A researcher during the day, an aspiring businessman at night. I work with the National Centre for Technology Management, Nigeria as a researcher in the Science, Policy and Innovation Studies department. I studied at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria for my Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Geography. I hold a PhD degree in Public Policy from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Durban, South Africa. My research examines low-carbon innovation development pathways and climate-resilient development in the developing countries. I had  worked with the United Nations Development Programme as home-based intern and the United Nations University Institute for Natural Resources in Africa, Ghana as a visiting scholar. I am currently a Marie SkÅ‚odowska-Curie Actions Fellow at RFF-CMCC European Institute on Economics and the Environment, Milan, Italy. My research project, ECO-innovation and the Dynamics of External Knowledge Sourcing (ECO-DEKS) examines the dynamics of alliance portfolio for eco-innovation in the manufacturing and service sectors in the developing countries. I am investigating points of departure or convergence between the two sectors in open eco-innovation studies. My project is funded by the European Commission under the HORIZON 2020 Research and Innovation programme.
